Lisa Bolduc, CEO & Founder
Lisa Bolduc founded Vegas Tutors after spending 25 years teaching within the Clark County School District, where she dedicated her career to helping elementary students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1994 and later completed her Master’s degree in Elementary Education in 1999.
Throughout her career, Lisa became known for her ability to create calm, structured, and engaging learning environments where students felt safe, motivated, and capable of succeeding. Her experience working with a wide range of learning styles and personalities helped shape the personalized educational philosophy that Vegas Tutors was built upon.
Lisa believes that strong relationships, individualized instruction, and positive classroom culture are essential to helping students thrive. Her background in classroom management and customized learning environments allows her to design programs that support both academic achievement and personal growth.
Today, she works closely with families seeking tutoring, homeschool support, microschool education, and alternative learning opportunities throughout Henderson and Las Vegas, helping students receive the personalized attention that is often difficult to find in larger classroom settings.
Brittany Kincaid, Lead Tutor
Brittany Kincaid brings a strong academic background and more than a decade of tutoring experience to Vegas Tutors. She graduated from University of San Diego with a degree in Neuroscience and a minor in Chemistry, combining academic excellence with a passion for helping students discover their own learning potential.
Brittany specializes in middle school and high school education, advanced coursework, college preparation, study skills, and standardized test preparation. She scored near-perfect results on both the ACT and SAT exams and has extensive experience guiding students through AP coursework, test-taking strategies, and college admissions essays.
What families appreciate most about Brittany is her ability to adapt her teaching style to each student’s personality and learning needs. She understands that academic success is not simply about memorization or test scores, but about helping students develop confidence, critical thinking skills, and a stronger understanding of how they learn best.
Her personalized approach has made her especially popular among families in education-focused Henderson communities such as Anthem, Seven Hills, Green Valley Ranch, and MacDonald Highlands, where parents are actively investing in academic enrichment and college readiness.
Frequently Asked Questions
ask
Miss Lisa
How is this different from a regular school or tutoring center?
Vegas Tutors sits in its own category. It’s not a traditional school with a fixed curriculum and 30 kids in a classroom, and it’s not a drop-in tutoring service. It’s a small, personalized learning environment where Lisa and her team work with each child individually based on how they actually learn. Class sizes are small by design, sessions are hands-on, and your child gets the kind of attention that simply isn’t possible in a traditional classroom setting.
How do I know if Vegas Tutors is the right fit for my child?
That’s exactly what the student assessment is for. Lisa meets with every family before enrollment to understand your child’s learning style, strengths, and challenges. There’s no pressure and no commitment required. It’s just an honest conversation to make sure Vegas Tutors is the right fit before anyone makes a decision.
Do you work with kids who have learning differences like ADHD or autism?
Yes. Several of our families came to Vegas Tutors specifically because their child wasn’t getting the right support elsewhere. Lisa’s 25 years of classroom experience includes working with all kinds of learners, and the small group setting naturally allows for the flexibility and individual attention that kids with learning differences often need most.
